Botox® is a simple Nurse Practitioner, administered treatment that involves the injection of a purified protein into the specific areas defined by a Nurse Practitioner during a consultation. Botox® is one of the safest and FDA approved non surgical treatments performed. It is not permanent, and most patients require a repeat treatment every 3-4 months to ensure that you’re always looking your best and maintaining your appearance.
When administering Botox® in Orlando office our Nurse Practitioner will evaluate patterns of facial muscles movement and look for moderate to severe facial lines caused by the action of these muscles. The location, size and action of these muscles that have created these “dynamic lines” vary among patients. We will mark these locations and administer several tiny injections of Botox® directly into the muscles that have caused these dynamic lines. Our goal is to create a relaxed and youthful appearance.
What to expect?
Before treatment
Our Nurse Practitioners will review your chart with you and confirm your skincare and what are your beauty goals.
We will discuss the risk factors associated with the treatment, and any other concerns you may have before to proceed with the treatment.
APRN will help you determine if Botox® is the right option for you.
During treatment
Mild discomfort may be experienced, but the process isn’t painful. We will cleanse injection sites to work and we may offer numbing agents as requested by patient.
The required number of Botox® units varies by patients and these will be injected below the skin’s dermis layer.
We will smooth out the Botox® injection to ensure it’s in all the desire places.
After treatment
You may expect to experience mild symptoms such as slight tenderness, temporary redness, swelling, and in rare cases, slight bruising on injection sites. This is temporary, and ice packs will help to relieve any swelling and discomfort you may experience post treatment.
We will schedule complimentary follow-up appointments to discuss how the treatment went and if any retouch is needed.

A personalized plan including illustrative face will be created to map out how many units will be administered.
